On behalf of the CalOptima Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce we are now accepting nominations for the 2012 CalOptima Safety Net Award in honor of Mary K. Dewane. Individuals and organizations interested in submitting a nomination should review the Award Announcement for instructions. The nomination deadline is 5 p.m., Monday, May 14, 2012.

Award recipients will be announced in mid June 2012.

Since the inception of the award in 2004, CalOptima has recognized the following organizations for their accomplishments:

* In 2008, the CalOptima Board of Directors authorized awarding multiple recipients per year and increased the total award amount from $50,000 to $100,000.
