Medi-Cal is a public health insurance program for low-income people including families with children, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care children, pregnant women, and low-income people with specific diseases such as tuberculosis, breast cancer or HIV/AIDS.

CalOptima provides health care coverage for Orange County residents who are eligible for full Medi-Cal. Once enrolled, we will work with you to find the right health care providers to meet your needs. We also have many special programs to help you get and stay healthy.
