The CalOptima Pharmacy Program serves each of our programs providing our members with convenient and quality pharmaceutical services. Whether it's Medi-Cal, Healthy Families Program or OneCare (HMO SNP), our pharmacy program maximizes our members’ benefits.

We have a network of over 450 pharmacies to serve our members. This network of pharmacies is spread across Orange County, giving our members the convenience of using a local pharmacy. In fact, most of our members live within a mile of a CalOptima network pharmacy. Our member-focused pharmacy program is diverse, with many of the network’s pharmacies offering services in several languages.

Effective 1/1/2012, PerformRx is CalOptima’s new pharmacy benefit manager. CalOptima contracts with PerformRx to administer our pharmacy program. PerformRx provides claims processing, pharmacy network management, prior authorization processing, and drug utilization management services.
