Diana Hoffman

As Deputy Chief Counsel, Diana Hoffman has primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the legal department. She serves as CalOptima’s primary contact with outside counsel on litigation and government claims matters. In her role at CalOptima since 2000, Hoffman provides advice and counsel to all operational departments on numerous topics, including health care and regulatory compliance, quality improvement, procurement, human resources, and provider contracting and operations. She also provides guidance on strategic initiatives and new program implementation. Hoffman is a cum laude graduate of Chapman University School of Law with an emphasis in tax law. She is a member of the California Bar as well as the U.S. Supreme Court Bar. Hoffman holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from Lafayette College and a master’s degree in national security studies from Georgetown University.
