Who to contact to learn if you are eligible for Medi-Cal

Medi-Cal — also known as Medicaid — is a public health insurance program for low-income people offered by the state. It covers families with children, adults, seniors, persons with disabilities, foster care children, pregnant women and people with specific diseases. Medi-Cal enrollment is open the entire year.

Covered California is a joint partnership with the California Department of Health Care Services. Medi-Cal and Covered California use the same application. Click on www.coveredca.com to apply online.
