Trieu Tran, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon practicing in Orange County since 2002. He provides care for CalOptima Medi-Cal, OneCare Connect and OneCare members. Dr. Tran has gained firsthand experience and valuable knowledge by serving this population that will help him guide CalOptima’s future as a quality health plan. A member of the California Orthopedic Association, he also served as a clinical instructor of orthopedic surgery at University of Southern California for 12 years. Dr. Tran is bilingual in Vietnamese, and he enjoys skiing, camping, rollerblading and home electronics. Dr. Tran earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UCLA and his medical degree from University of Southern California, completing his residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. He was appointed a CalOptima director in August 2020.
